AUDIO: Knaresborough bomb hoax 999 call
A Leeds man has been jailed for four years after being found guilty of making bomb hoax calls which led to Knaresborough being shut down by armed police last year.
Shamsul Islam, 23, who is currently serving an eight year prison sentence for drug offences, was previously found guilty of three charges of communicating a bomb hoax after calling the police on 16 October 2013, claiming that staff at Paragon Pizza in Knaresborough were making a bomb.

Hide AdHe was jailed for three-and-a-half years for the hoax calls and six months for perverting the course of justice, to run consecutively. This sentence will begin after his eight year sentence for drug offences ends.
